Group urges SST expansion delay to January, proposes lower rate until 2027

KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 — The government is urged to postpone the implementation of the expanded sales and service tax (SST) to January 2026 from July 1, 2025, to allow more lead time for preparation, as several areas still require clarification.
